The MASDAR HQ project is probably one of the most challenging projects that we have been involved with to date. The combination of a fast track schedule, restrictive architectural conditions and the need to develop a Zero Carbon Footprint expressed through material usage has taxed the design effort. The final design approach is and expression of “impression,” in that there is a result from a force applied to the sign family.
Every material and technology selected for use on the project has to be evaluated for power consumption, life cycle, sustainability and perceived ROI. We play a leading role in the research and application of new graphic technologies that will inform, engage and enhance the user experience while on site.
A retail guideline is also being developed to create a consistent branding effort for all of the tenants in the facility
